Litefeet and Dancehall come together in a workshop, music and clash series, hosted by Phil Eazy and Chuby. Ticketing includes full access, workshop, or clash entry.
Litefeet is a New York street dance defined by rapid footwork, rhythmic variation and developed through transit and street performance contexts including the subway. It prioritises speed, musicality, and individual variation. Dancehall, by contrast, is sequence and party-rooted, socially embedded as political and artistic expression. Both share improvisation, musical responsiveness and crowd exchange, but diverge in movement base and setting.
Phillip aka ‘Phil Eazy’ is a Litefeet dancer based in Naarm. He started dancing in 2010 by joining his high school’s breaking club. Since then, he has explored numerous other styles such as Hip Hop, House, and Dancehall.
Phillip continually strives to learn all facets of Litefeet culture, visiting the birthplace of the dance, New York City, multiple times and representing Australia in international competitions such as Litefest 2024. As the founder of @burncitylitefeet and @team.updog (Melbourne’s first Litefeet crew), Phillip aims to grow the scene in Australia, organising Melbourne’s first Litefeet battle, Rhythm of the Lite in 2023 and hosting regular Litefeet sessions (Thurs 7–9pm) at Argyle Square.
